Professor Roos’ research is focused on thin film optics, solar energy applications and optical property measurements of thin films.
Professor Roos has been involved in several international projects, a project leader in the International Energy Agency’s Solar Heating and Cooling Programme, and coordinated an EU-project about angular dependent optical properties of advanced glazing materials.He is European Editor of the international journal Solar Energy Materials and Solar Cells.
